Timatanga’s founder, Brendon Scott completed his carpentry apprenticeship in New Zealand in the mid 90’s with a well established & leading multi disciplined construction company. A move to Australia in early 2000 meant new opportunities for Brendon, broadening his experience and expertise. Brendon’s unique ‘think outside of the box’ approach and willingness to design projects that most others were not prepared to do has enabled him to achieve successful outcomes for his clients throughout his career.
After 15 years of working in and managing a structural/civil engineering company it became apparent to Brendon that there was the need for a company that could offer full services from land purchase due diligence to construction and ultimately key handover. Through his experience, he also knew that producing a great product required an efficient and buildable design. He also wanted to get back to his roots. He wanted a new start - creating new opportunities for himself and his family. He wanted to create a business that felt like he was truly adding value to his client’s businesses and the built environment.
And so, Timatanga was born.
To this day Brendon still looks to the very first company he worked with in NZ for inspiration and construction ideas. Brendon draws from all of his experiences across both Australia and NZ and over the years has learned the value of teamwork, communication and thorough project preparation - which underpin all Timatanga projects.

Our team can plan, design, project manage and build any project. We complete all regulatory approvals and we have a large base of consultants we work with in order to provide the most cost effective and best product possible. Our team has been trained in the entire construction process from foundations to finishing works so can do everything from conception right through to handing over the keys. We believe this provides are far better quality of construction as we care about and can effectively & cohesively manage each step of the project. We care about project outcomes and are proud of the product that we produce. We wish to be able to pass by our completed projects in years to come and know that we made a difference.
We specialise in framed construction which allows for far greater use of alternative materials which in turn provides more thermally efficient buildings
We have significant experience working on a vast range of both residential and commercial projects as well as considerable experience working in remote areas where thorough planning is required
We meticulously plan our projects to limit waste and find the most efficient way of doing things
We have our own team of core staff which allows for a far tighter construction programme without slippage when leading trades miss deadlines
Having early engagement with the builder we clearly outline how we wish to construct different facets of a project giving our consultants the ability to optimise design - ultimately saving time and budget

Brendon Scott
DIRECTOR
Brendon is a Registered Builder with 23 years Industry experience. He completed his carpentry apprenticeship in New Zealand in the mid 90’s with a well established & leading multi disciplined construction company.
He then moved to Australia in early 2000 to seek new opportunities and work experiences. He found himself in WA where he went on to operate a small construction company in Perth and Port Hedland. Seeking a new direction in the industry, Brendon took a position with an engineering company specialising in Commercial and Modular engineering which he then went on to manage and own.
Brendon has worked in many areas of Western Australia, designing projects that most others were not prepared to do. He has a unique ‘think outside of the box’ approach which enables him to achieve successful outcomes for his clients.

Jason Roberts is an accomplished registered builder and project manager with 20 years industry experience. Jason specialises in the construction of modular buildings. With a proven track record of successful project delivery, Jason brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the forefront of the construction industry.
Known for meticulous planning, effective communication, and adept problem-solving, Jason has navigated the complexities of modular construction with finesse. From concept to completion, Jason ensures that projects are executed seamlessly, meeting and exceeding client expectations. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, Jason is dedicated to driving efficiency and innovation in the modular construction landscape.

Stephanie Scott
OFFICE MANAGER / DIRECTOR
Steph is the Accounts Manager, but she also has a keen interest in interior design.
As a qualified Registered Nurse, the building scene is an outlet to enable her to develop her interior design passion.
Steph also enjoys liaising with the clients throughout the design and building process, to ensure the progression of the project is seamless and enjoyable for everyone involved.
